38% of IT positions will be cloud related by 2021 according to IDC/Microsoft, Cloud Skills and Organizational Influence* How Cloud Skills Are Accelerating the Careers of IT Professional, May 2017.
That’s right…38%...are you ready?
We all know that cloud usage is growing. Enterprises and IT professionals are focusing on developing skills to use cloud services internally because outside talent is either hard to find or hard on the pocketbook.
In the last six months we have seen growth in our Role Based Certification courses, developed by Microsoft Learning to accelerate the skilling process for the transition to cloud services. The role based courses provide a narrower focus on the job role over the technology. This model ensures students optimize their training time and efforts by concentrating on topics relevant to their positions.
So many of our clients are concerned about the security of their data, apps, and infrastructure in a hybrid or cloud environment. To learn more about implementing platform protection and managing security operations utilizing Microsoft Azure, look to the AZ-500: Microsoft Azure Security Technologies 4-day training course. In this class you will configure Active Directory and configure security for an Azure subscription, implement platform security, configure security policies using Azure Security Center, and implement security for the application lifecycle. Before attending this class you will need to have hands-on experience as an Azure Administrator.
If you are ready to learn more about how to secure your Azure services and fast-track your security cloud skills, join one of our scheduled AZ-500: Microsoft Azure Security Technologies certification courses: February 24 – 27 or April 6 – 9. These public scheduled classes may be attended virtually from your home/office…or from one of our Education facilities. Validate your skills by using your complimentary Microsoft Exam Voucher at one of our Pearson VUE testing centers.
I hope you are as excited as I am about the new roles that are changing existing IT positions and creating new jobs in our industry!
As always, I look forward to seeing you at one of the LRS Education Services facilities as you continue your IT skilling journey!
Cheers,
Margaret
