MICROSOFT SOFTWARE ASSURANCE TRAINING VOUCHERS RETIREMENT IS CLOSE!

Microsoft’s Software Assurance Training Voucher (SATV) program will be retired at the end of 2021. Six months remain to use your vouchers before they expire for all SATV-eligible classes. The following retirement schedule will help you maximize your training program and budget for the second half of the year.
SATV Program Retirement Schedule

• June 30, 2021: By this date your training vouchers MUST be created*, or you will no longer have access to them. Vouchers are valid for 180 days after created by customer but DO NOT need to be assigned to a training class by this date.
• December 31, 2021: Last day for training to be completed.

*Microsoft is strongly urging customers not to wait until the last minute to create their vouchers.  While the deadline is officially June 30, they are suggesting June 15th as a “goal date” for final voucher creation. The Create Voucher button will be disabled beginning July 1, 2021.

As you have likely heard by now, the CDC relaxed mask and social distancing requirements in an announcement on May 13, 2021. LRS continues to follow the CDC guidelines. That means that fully vaccinated individuals will not be required to wear a mask or physically distance in our offices, except where required by applicable state or local laws. In Illinois, the Governor has stated that he will sync up his executive orders with the CDC. Although LRS is no longer requiring the wearing of masks for those that are vaccinated, you may of course continue to wear a mask if you choose. Our classrooms will continue to allow for social distanced seating for the foreseeable future. Virtual Training using our remote technology continues to be available.
